FIMP?

The Financial International Mobility Program (FIMP), promoted by Banco Santander and Bank of Shanghai, is a pioneering scholarship program designed to enhance learning and create an exchange network between prestigious universities in China, Europe and America, aiming to eliminate barriers and foster international mobility and multicultural exchange.

Through collaboration between universities in the fields of finance, economics and business administration, this program aims at fostering creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship between the participating students, teachers and researchers, developing their talent for today’s global market.

The Program

FIMP has been conceived primarily as a program for the new generation of individuals with knowledge of finance, a vision of the future and an international academic profile.

Who is it aimed at?

Students, teachers and researchers in the fields of Economics, Finance and Business Administration will have the opportunity to study programs related to their subject area and, if they wish, the language and culture of the country they visit.

What does it involve?

Each Chinese university will exchange up to 5 participants; one to each European or American university.
Each European and American university will exchange 6 participants; one to each Chinese university.

The grant will help to cover the expenses of travel, accommodation, insurance, registration and living costs.

The maximum stay at the host university is 6 months.

Nankai University was founded in 1919 by the famous Chinese educators, Mr. Zhang Boling and Mr. Yan Xiu. During the War of Resistance against Japan (1937-1945), Nankai University, Peking University (Beijng University) and Tsinghua University (Qinghua University) were united in Kunming to form the renowned Southwest Associated University. It was called “The North Star of Higher Learning”.
